By using the Capleath Trace tool, you agree that anonymised tracing data — including zone shapes, zone labels, and footwear structure information — may be collected and used by Capleath to improve and train AI segmentation models.

This data is never linked to your personal identity and does not include your uploaded images. Only zone geometry (shapes and labels) is retained. Your original shoe photos are never stored on Capleath servers.

Any custom shoe templates you create remain your own intellectual property. Capleath does not claim ownership of your designs. The anonymised structural data (zone shapes and labels) used for AI training is distinct from your creative work and designs.

AI models trained on this data are the intellectual property of Capleath and may be used, licensed, or commercialised by Capleath at its discretion.

Images you upload into the Trace tool are processed locally in your browser for sketch conversion. If you use the Auto-detect Zones feature, your image is temporarily sent to a third-party AI service (Replicate) for processing and is not stored by that service beyond the duration of the request.

You may opt out of AI training data collection at any time by contacting support@capleath.com. Opting out does not affect your ability to use the Trace tool — it only prevents your anonymised trace data from being used for model training.
